The winner of the CSN giveaway is:

Miss Angela "I Have Three of the Cutest Boys Ever Invented" Barker

Now because I don't like having a blog post without photos, here's one of me and the Barker clan circa 2009:
And here's Ang helping me fix up my very first house in 2005. Here's the living room before:

Ang and her awesome husband helped me tile the kitchen/dining area in this house. As you may have noticed by the quality of my photos, this is before digital cameras were invented. Check out this awesome tile job:

Check out Ang checking out my awesome tile:

I should mention that Home Depot did the tile in my bathrooms, and the Barker version was 500x better than their version. It was also 500x less expensive and 500% more fun. So ya, I'm pretty sure Ang has earned this teeny tiny little "thank you". :)

CSN Store Giveaway!

I was contacted by Caitlin at CSN stores and asked if I would like to host a giveaway. After doing some research and verifying that this is in fact a legitimate offer, I decided there is no reason my blog readers shouldn't benefit from an opportunity for free stuff! I should also mention that I am not being compensated in any way for doing this.

CSN is comprised of over 200 online stores, where you can find everything from home office furniture to fitness equipment or cookware! I think it's a good thing I'm living in a small apartment, or I'd probably be blowing all my money on awesome decor items like this

I did (of course) find something that I'm pretty sure I need to have:

It's a mini herb garden, with basil, cilantro and parsley although there are a couple of variations available. The best part is that this set is $19.95...perfect for the $20.00 giveaway I'm hosting!

So, on to the details. The contest is open to US and Canadian entrants only, and there may be international shipping charges for Canadian residents.  To enter the giveaway, simply comment on this post. The winner will be chosen on March 1st.

Good luck and happy shopping!

A or B?

Jessica Sprague's Digi in Deeper course began this week, and it's rocking my socks off. So far I've done one lesson and I've already learned enough to fill an entire course! And considering that I've been digi-scrapping for more than a couple of years, I'd say this is an impressive feat.

Anyway, here is my first layout for the course...but I'm having trouble deciding which one I like better. So, you tell me: A? Or B? Which is your favorite?

And can I just say how much I love that little girl? Her cute family came to visit in January, and it made my entire week. Now if only I could get them to move in next door, then I'd be in heaven! :)

Digi Day

Just popping in to give a quick update about the Women's Expo. It was downright awesome! I had some amazing sponsors, and I was able to give everyone who stopped by a code for a free Shutterfly photobook! I was also thrilled to get some freebies from Jessica Sprague as well. She provided some adorable mousepads, pins, and of course coupon cards for the Up and Running course. It was perfect because honestly, I don't know of a better way to learn digital scrapbooking. It was fun to show off some of my photobooks, meet new people, and share the excitement of crafting and memory keeping. Here are a couple of my photos from the event:
And here are some photos from a REAL photographer (Evan Yamada):

I had such a great time and I was so happy to be a part of this. Thanks to my sweet friend Vy for the invitation, and to all the amazing women who participated and shared their talents and enthusiasm. It was a wonderful afternoon!
