Gillette Lake to Seattle: 395 miles

On to the third day of our trip. When we stopped and camped at Gillette Lake, we were actually about 150+ miles short of our original destination. As it turned out, the going was much slower than we had anticipated the day before...the roads were pretty twisty and had low speed limits, and there was a lot to stop and see! So when we got up on Monday morning, we had a lot of ground to cover. We broke camp and hit the road.

On our journey to Seattle, we travelled thru the Cascade Mountains. All I can say is this: Wow!
